Shieldy logs every visitor with full network and behavioural metadata. Use the dashboard to find bots, validate rules, and identify fraud patterns.
What is logged per visitor
- IP address (IPv4 / IPv6)
- Country, region, city
- ISP / ASN
- User agent (parsed: browser, OS, device type)
- Risk score (0.0-1.0)
- Risk category (VPN / Proxy / Tor / Datacenter / Clean)
- Time on site, pages viewed
- Block / Allow / Challenge decision
- Referrer URL
- Landing page
Dashboard views
Daily heatmap — hourly visit volume across the week. Quickly spot scraping spikes.
Top blocked countries — bar chart of country-level block rates.
Risk score distribution — histogram showing how many visitors fall in each risk bucket.
Visitor log table — sortable, filterable, exportable list of every visit.

Find bots manually
Sort the visitor log by Risk score descending and inspect the top 50:
- Risk > 0.7 with 0s time on site → bot
- 50+ page views in 60s → scraper
- Same IP, 5+ user agents → rotating scraper
- Datacenter ASN + Liquid theme requests → spy tool
Export data
Visitor logs can be exported as CSV from the dashboard. Use for:
- Custom analysis in spreadsheets
- Audit trails for chargeback disputes
- Feeding fraud-pattern data into BI tools
Privacy and GDPR
Shieldy logs IP and behavioural data only — no personally identifiable customer information (no email, no name, no order details).
Visitor data is retained for 90 days by default. Configurable in Settings → Data retention.
